The Shipping/Warehouse Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations in the shipping, receiving and warehouse department. The supervisor is responsible for the productivity of the department and its staff. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Shipping

• Process Shipping papers as required
• Pick and prepare materials for shipping
• Generate BOL and arrange shipments with carriers as required. Advise sales of the pallet dimensions and weight.
• Record the PRO/Tracking data in the freight excel spreadsheet. 
• Assist sales with any questions and/or issues in regards to their customers’ shipment. Notify sales of late deliveries and ship schedule changes.
• Assist the operators of trucks in the loading and unloading of materials when needed
• Prepare necessary paperwork, labels, and packaging to assure proper shipment of materials
