Estimator Job Description

The ‘Estimator’ is an integral member of the team responsible for dealing with tenders from receipt of enquiry, sending out enquiries to subcontractors, finalizing tenders to submission under the direction of the Commercial Director. Upon a tender being successful, you will then be required to complete a handover and support the project managers in liaising with suppliers and subcontractors, as and when required.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working on interiors and/or shop fitting projects, preferably with a background in the trade.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings and assist with determination of project requirements, as and when required.
• Interpret drawings from concept designs through to full working construction drawings.
• Complete detailed, trade-specific enquiries and accurately communicate relevant information to the various subcontractors.
