Job Summary:
The Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the of a Class 3 Side load vehicle. The operator is also responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining the equipment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive Side Load tandem truck in a safe and efficient manner on assigned routes to fill contractual requirementsEnsure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe mannerResponsible for daily pre- and post-trip inspections of trucks assignedCheck in with Dispatcher to determine what time to leave and returnLoad and unload heavy materials, tools, and equipment under varying traffic and road conditionsMaintain telephone or radio contact with appropriate supervisor to receive delivery instructions
