Job Duties: This position serves as a skilled trades supervisor responsible for directly supervising a small team of specialized carpenters who travel statewide to perform skilled work in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, masonry, welding, and painting to maintain state buildings and infrastructure.
Responsibilities include identifying material needs and purchasing supplies; maintaining and repairing tools, machinery, and equipment used in trade-related tasks; and safely operating a variety of hand and power tools, as well as heavy equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and backhoes.
