Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Small Animal Technician to join our team to work with rats, mice, guinea pigs, and rabbits.
Responsibilities

+ Perform dosing of test agents in small animals using various methods.

+ Assess and score test agents based on subject reactions.

+ Conduct post-procedure euthanasia following established protocols.

+ Document routine clinical observations, physiological data, and animal health status.

+ Prepare animals for surgery and monitor anesthesia during and after procedures.

+ Perform incision monitoring, pain assessment, and administer medications post-procedurally.

+ Conduct intravenous and cardiac blood collection.

+ Perform preventive health maintenance, such as nail trims and bathing.
