Job Description As a Social Worker/Case Worker in the National Anti‑Violence & Sexual Harassment Helpline (NAVH), you will help to attend to violence‑related enquiries that come through the NAVH. You will be involved in supporting the following tasks required to right‑sit these violence‑related calls:
- Engage caller to understand severity of situation
- Gather and verify information with other sources (e.g. schools, family members, relatives, government databases)
- Conduct risk and safety assessment for cases
- Determine response time and right‑siting of cases
- Engage agencies to ensure warm transfer of cases
- Engage key family members to work with an agency
Qualification & Skills - Possess Bachelor Degree in Social Work or a relevant degree in social sciences or related discipline(s) (e.g. psychology)
