A social worker in CCF focuses to help beneficiaries thrive through social work modalities suited to the needs of the beneficiary and/or their families. They could include providing casework and counseling interventions, groupwork, community development and programmes to support and empower families through the cancer journey and beyond. The social worker is expected to work comfortably in these modalities with a positive attitude towards learning and growth and with supervision and support.
Please note that the portfolio and designation associated with this role may evolve as part of ongoing Service Transformation and organisational reorganisation. The role may include responsibilities in the hospital setting, although the primary work location will remain mostly community based. Candidates should be adaptable and open to changes in scope and responsibilities that may arise.
