Contract: Permanent, Full (1.0FTE) and Part Time (0.9FTE)
The Social Worker will provide evidence‑based interventions and comprehensive assessments for young people (0‑18 years) with moderate‑to‑severe mental health difficulties. The role involves working directly with young people and their families to help them achieve their goals, supporting families to maintain wellbeing and liaising with hospital and community partners such as schools and Oranga Tamariki.
The team is community‑based and offers a range of therapeutic approaches, including two specialist treatment teams: family therapy (with a screening team) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
