Job Description
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: - Undertake and write up assessments (reviewed by the Senior Social Worker) that meet specified standards and timescales;
- Conduct interviews with service users and their families to assess and review their situation
- Offer information and counselling support to service users families;
- Organise and manage packages of support to enable children and their families to lead the fullest lives possible;
- Recommend and sometimes make decisions about the best course of action for a particular child and their family;
- Liaising with and make referrals to other agencies;
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings;
- Maintain accurate records, update records and prepare reports for reporting to governing agencies and government mean-testing application;
- Participate in internal and external training, supervision and teams
