Job Description

Position

We are seeking a female, 2nd rotational Sous Chef for a 65+m private M/Y.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years in yachting, and more than 1 year on the same program for longevity.
  • A great repertoire of crew cooking, healthy, balanced and covers all bases. Able to work alone and in a team. Clean, organized and detail minded.
  • Sourdough skills and basic desserts and pastry skills.
  • Bubbly and friendly disposition—lots of guest interaction, so you must be able to hold your own conversation with guests, including banter. It is a casual but professional environment.
  • Crew are fun, sporty, and like to have a wine or beer together at the end of the day. Owner is amazing!
  • Trips are often filled with excursions such as hiking, scuba, and lunches ashore exploring with the guests. It is unique and demands a sous chef to match. Amazing program!
