Job Description:

Summary: The Special Security Specialist will provide subject matter and technical expertise and interpret security policy guidance in accordance with the Technical Specification for Construction and Management of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) and Agency Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

+ Serves in the Registrar / Activator role for the USAccess (HSPD-12) system in order to enroll, print, activate, and issue PIV cards as well as perform PIN resets and certificate updates.

+ Assists with the management and security operation of multiple Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs).
