**The Position**

The position holder is responsible for the execution, compliance and maintenance of Asset Accounting related standards, processes and procedures being part of the GBS service portfolio (in close cooperation with GBSC Ingelheim, Local and Corporate Finance). He/she supports the GBS Deployment Team during the implementation of new countries/entities being integrated into GBS e.g. by conducting end-user trainings and testing. In addition, he/she performs the Asset Accounting and CapEx related periodic routines for GBS legal entities.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Perform Asset Accounting processes and ensure compliance in all served countries (GBS legal entities)
+ Capitalization, sale, disposal and modification of assets
+ Asset retirement by scrapping
+ Plan, perform and monitor month-end closing procedures such as depreciation runs or sub ledger to GL reconciliations
