JOB PURPOSE: To ensure that identified critical business processes are recovered in accordance with the defined recovery strategies following the disaster recovery plans in the event of an incident that renders the processing center inoperable and a formal disaster declaration made.

Key Accountabilities & Outcomes

• Ensure recoverability and workability of DR IT system infrastructure in accordance with the defined recovery strategy.
• Assist to collate and update recovery plans and procedures for review and approval.
• Assist to develop and improve DR testing strategy.
• Assist to plan, coordinate and execute mandatory/adhoc DR testing.
• Assist to improve and rectify any system or process shortcoming identified during testing.
• Enable business unit to continue to support critical business functions/operations in the event of disaster declaration.
