Reporting to theManager, Career Education & Operations and working closely with a team of full-time staff colleagues, the Specialist, Career Services & Employer Events provides essential support on campus in support of student employment outcomes.

Responsibilities

Student Employment Support & Employer Services:

• As the primary staff person in the Career Zone, ensure that an in‑person drop‑in service point at Thunder Bay campus is welcoming, inclusive, and supports a feeling of belonging for all students and members of Lakehead’s community, providing support via telephone, in person, and via email during Career Zone hours.
• Implement the daily operations of the Career Zone including maintaining the accessibility, cleanliness, and safety of the space and its equipment
