Specialist Medical Practitioner – Alcohol and Drug Service (ADS) – Permanent Full‑time Day Worker. Hours up to 76 per fortnight. Location: Launceston, Tasmania.

About the Service

Alcohol and Drug Service North provides inpatient and outpatient support to individuals, families and friends facing alcohol and drug challenges.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and engage with key stakeholders to support the ongoing effectiveness and quality of the public and private sector Pharmacotherapy Program.
• Exercise a high degree of independent clinical judgement in the delivery of care and completion of core responsibilities.
• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a strong commitment to ethical practice in all aspects of your work.

Eligibility

• Specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty.
