Our team oversees organ and tissue donation to maximise donation opportunities to save as many lives as possible through transplantation. We provide support and guidance to patients and families to ensure we deliver a world-class service.

Responsibilities

• Act as ambassador for our services and central point for medical teams to facilitate organ and tissue donation.
• Support and provide appropriate information to families of critically ill or bereaved patients regarding end‑of‑life choices, including organ and tissue donation.
• Facilitate and maximise organ and tissue donation working autonomously and collaboratively in clinical and non‑clinical settings.
• Build and maintain a robust infrastructure to support donation, including analysis, planning, design, implementation, evaluation, and continuation of educational and quality assurance programmes with stakeholders.
