Distribution Asset Planning is offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Distribution System Specialist Planner to join the Metro Distribution Asset Planning team based at BC Hydro's Edmonds office in Burnaby, BC. This position will lead the distribution system planning and studies in the Metro and Coastal regions to manage system assets for growth, reliability, and system performance.

Duties

• Provides power system planning expertise and leadership in developing short- and long-term Distribution system plans to optimize Distribution system performance, considering load growth and customer requirements, operational needs, corporate objectives, and long-term strategic goals.
