Job Description

We are seeking a Mainframe Engineer to join our team.

The idóneo candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining Java applications that are scalable, reliable, and secure.

Requirements

• Expertise in COBOL/DB2/JCL
• Design, code, test, and debug COBOL-DB2 applications
• Write complex SQL queries
• Familiarity with z/OS, TSO/ISPF environment
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• 5+ years of experience in mainframe application development

Desirable

• Experience with IMS database and VSAM
• Exposure to online transaction processing like CICS or IMS-DC
• Exposure to tools like SPUFI and File-aid

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology

Advanced English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
