Job Description

• Fill in for the Material Planning Supervisor and Master Scheduler as needed.
• Work with sales on coordinating customer orders for production to achieve on‑time shipment and a high level of customer service.
• Update forecasts on an as‑needed basis based on demand input and design changes.
• Lead efforts to improve throughput with a focus on loading, lead‑time, and optimizing plant capacity.
• Review capacity by work‑center and rebalance load to optimize customer service.
• Work to align original acknowledge and promise dates with customer request dates.
• Set up, execute, and maintain ordering parameters and MRP data.
• Monitor capacities and product‑line delivery performance and daily throughputs.
• Monitor inventory levels to avoid potential excess, obsolescence, and shortages.
• Oversee inventory policy through ABCD classification and use of proper planning parameters.
