What the role is: The candidate will join the Manpower Research & Statistics Department, which is responsible for in-depth statistical activities, research & analysis supporting MOM’s strategic outcomes, and to facilitate informed decision making within the government and the community at large.
What you will be working on: - Carry out the processing of raw data obtained from large scale surveys on manpower and assist in the management of statistical databases (examples of activities include data generation, and updating of documentation).
- Organise and maintain documents and reference materials related to the databases needed for accurate coding, extraction and up‑keeping of information.
- Undertake statistical programming/coding for the provision of information/data in support of analysis and data requests.
- Assist in handling data requests from the Ministry, external Ministries, Statutory Boards and the public.
