STEEL PURCHASING MANAGER

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Steel Purchasing Manager will initially focus on learning and executing the day-to-day purchasing responsibilities supporting the operation, including steel, aluminum, hardware, electrical components, powder, and other direct materials required to support a highly customized, job-order manufacturing environment.

Beyond tactical purchasing execution, this individual will be expected to:

• Lead the consolidation and standardization of MRO purchasing activities.
• Improve purchasing processes, workflows, and system utilization.
• Drive supplier consolidation and cost reduction initiatives.
• Increase organizational discipline and visibility within supply chain operations.
• Partner closely with Operations, Finance, Planning, and Leadership teams to improve execution and support business growth.
