Responsibilities
Assisting with leading, coaching, organizing, and developing the supervisory committee and colleagues within the stewarding department. Reports to the Director of Stewarding with any problems, concerns, suggestions, and/or comments. Assists Director of Stewarding with hiring duties and scheduling of stewards.
- Direct supervision of all stewarding employees and supervisors, training, performance management, scheduling, and assigning of daily duties and long‑term projects
- Ensuring the highest quality of cleanliness and organization in all food service areas and service equipment
- Scheduling staff to ensure that all F&B areas are maintained in accordance with sanitation standards
- Following all health and safety rules as outlined by the department and the hotel, including daily completion of food safety logs
