Duties & Responsibilities

• Raise purchase requests for transport as per invoice and provide transport companies with purchase orders.
• Follow up with transport providers for invoices and P.O.D,S. to meet month end deadlines.
• Ensure all documents for transport are sent to finance department timeously.
• Ensure all materials and packaging are stacked and stored safely in designated areas.
• Ensure all raw materials are labelled and coded using SAGE labels.
• Ensure daily housekeeping of all warehouses, flammable stores and yard.
• Check and record all used empty drums, polycans and mini bulks that are returned to suppliers and informs Sales Admin to invoice the suppliers accordingly.
• Perform weekly cycle counts of raw materials in stores and assist with investigating variances.
• Issue samples of raw materials, substandard and finished goods when requested.
