An established consulting engineering practice is seeking a Structural Engineer to join its structural engineering team in Edinburgh.
Candidates should hold a degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering, have a strong interest in building structures, and possess several years of experience within UK consulting engineering.
The Structural Engineer role;
Undertaking structural design for building projects.Developing and producing structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports.Reviewing architectural drawings and developing structural layouts.Liaising with clients, architects, contractors, and other members of the design team.Attending project meetings, design team meetings, and site inspections.Managing smaller projects, or discrete elements of larger projects, from initial enquiry through to completion...
