Substance Misuse Specialist / Nurse – Band 6

Join the new i-access Specialist Substance Misuse Service as a Band 6 Substance Misuse Specialist or Nurse, working flexibly across Surrey with a base at either Guildford, Chertsey or Redhill.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based clinical interventions to individuals with substance misuse issues, including rough sleepers and hard-to-engage clients.
• Adapt to different working environments to meet the needs of homeless individuals.
• Manage complex risk and provide crisis intervention within a fast-moving setting.
• Build and maintain strong, supportive relationships with service users.
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team and utilise knowledge, skill and experience to achieve high clinical standards.
• Support clients in following the recovery agenda and other therapeutic plans.
