Fixed Term / Secondment Opportunity*

We are looking for a Band 4 Substance Use Worker to join the Substance Use Service (CADS) for a 12‑month fixed term or a secondment. The role will involve providing assessment and interventions to adults aged 16 years and older who have moderate to severe complex substance use issues and mental health problems, as well as their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, interventions and ongoing review of adults with substance use and mental health difficulties.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with a wide range of professionals to improve service delivery.
• Work autonomously to meet the needs of the locality while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.
• Travel throughout the area of service delivery as required.
• Participate in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and adhere to its standards.
