JOB SUMMARY: Support the safe movement of students to and from school by assisting them in crossing designated roadways and intersections. School crossing guards promote pedestrian safety and are not responsible for directing or controlling traffic.



TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Substitutes are called and used on an as needed basis with no guarantee of hours or days.



QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent

Ability to work in a positive manner with students

Possess positive interpersonal skills

Valid Iowa Driver’s license



Successful completion of a criminal background check and physical capacity profile test will be required upon offer.
