The current hourly wage range for Activity Leader 3 is $25.00 - $31.00 + 12.4% in lieu; The current hourly wage range for Activity Leader 1 is $20.00 - $22.00 + 12.4% in lieu.

The City of Courtenay invites applications for the position of Summer Camp Activity Leaders (1 and 3) .

Summer Camp Activity Leaders 1 & 3 are responsible for the development and implementation of recreational early years, children and youth day camps. Summer camp programs consist of a variety of both indoor and outdoor activities, including: games, STEAM, cooking, swimming at the outdoor pool, hiking, sports and field trips.

Education Requirements:

• Activity Leader 1
  • Completion of grade 9 or equivalent
• Activity Leader 3
  • 19 years of age or older
