Job Summary Planning to ensure instructions regarding work requirements are relayed from the appropriate documents (specifications, tender, work instructions, procedure manuals) to the sub-ordinates.
Key Responsibilities - To support Foremen and planners in pre-planning, generation of programs, and follow up of all jobs in order to utilize optimum resources – manpower and equipment.
- Pre-planning and follow up inter trade sequences and interferences to ensure optimum usage of resources.
- Coordinate with Project Managers / Engineers, owner representatives, other trades supervisory staff as well as internally in the department with work preparation, fabrication and material control.
- Provide assistance to his foreman/charge hand with resources from shop, other trades, as the case may be.
