Job Description
Responsibilities - Supervise and coordinate activities of tunnel construction crew engaged in sinking shafts, boring tunnels, placing tunnel segments, moving shield forward, and excavating in front of shield.
- Determine spacing, alignment, and depth of blast holes.
- Assist and support Engineers in carrying out works as assigned, and ensuring that the works are carried out to schedule and in accordance with relevant regulations.
- Manage and supervise site workers for each shift.
- Ensure completion of work in accordance with the main contractor program and requirements safely with no accidents and incidents.
- Troubleshoot and submit in‑house reports.
- Know how to provide hands‑on training for erecting segments and ring building, etc.
- Be able to work shifts (day and night).
- Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in supervision of temporary works and underground structures or tunnelling.
