Summary The incumbent is based at the VA Puget Sound Healthcare System and serves as the Supervisory Health System Specialist for the Nurse Executive Service Line. Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: Evaluates effectiveness of programs and initiatives, and integrates improvements into business practices. Supports and guides management officials by analyzing, advising on and/or coordinating system and operational improvements. Develops information required for policies, procedures, programs, education, and other special requirements specific to the service line. Supports and manages budget and fund control points. Oversight includes coordination of funds through purchase cards, contracts, invoicing, reconciliations, etc. Oversees and directs the flow of work related to management of the Nursing Service's human resource activities.
