What to Expect The FPC Supplier Industrialization Engineer (SIE) is the subject matter expert on FPC and rigid-flex manufacturing processes and fabrication rulesets and will be responsible for supplier audits, qualifications, and supplier selections for all FPCs in Tesla's electronics portfolio. • Support with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) based on FPC supplier fabrication limitations and guide Design Engineers to optimize FPC layouts and designs
• Define and maintain FPC specifications, criteria, and reliability standards to improve supplier performance for incumbent and new FPC suppliers
• Review and define APQP/PPAP requirements as the primary owner and approver of downstream FPC and rigid-flex suppliers
• Conduct FPC supplier audits and support with the development of additional audit criteria to assess suppliers to meet Tesla's high standard of quality
