Job Description

This role within the Microchip Component Operations team (our Global Supply Chain) will provide the successful candidate with valuable experience and growth potential. Reporting to the Materials Manager, the objective of our Supply Chain Team is to establish, maintain and improve supply continuity, quality and cost as it relates to products and services. (Key Measurements: Inventory, On‑time delivery, Quality & Cost)

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions, purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliers
• Review PO variances to the plan; resolve past‑due and aged unconfirmed orders with the supply base
• Participate in maximizing the procurement team’s changes, part parameters; maintain quote tables, supplier database information, analyze error reports, and manage part number/supplier code information
