About the Role
Vivekananda Global University (VGU) is seeking a proactive and technically sound Support Engineer – Wi Fi & Network Support to manage and maintain the campus-wide wireless infrastructure. The role involves ensuring seamless connectivity across academic blocks, hostels, and administrative areas while providing prompt support to students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot campus-wide Wi Fi networks and access points
Provide L1/L2 support for network-related issues (Wi Fi connectivity, bandwidth, authentication, etc.)
Handle user queries and complaints related to internet access and resolve within defined SLAs
Configure and manage wireless devices, controllers, and network switches
Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new Wi Fi infrastructure
Maintain logs, documentation, and reports of network performance and incidents
