Support Worker

Highlea Care Limited – Ferryhill

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Working Hours: up to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with eating, medication, and routine care.
• Help plan and participate in fun activities, trips, and community events.
• Encourage independence and celebrate every milestone.
• Assist with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and errands.
• Build positive, trusting relationships through listening and open communication.
• Support individuals to plan and achieve their personal goals and ambitions.

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate attitude.
• Motivation to support others in reaching their goals.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Previous experience in care is welcome but not essential – training will be provided.
