Locums - Williamsport, Pennsylvania, Cardiothoracic Surgeon Job

• ASAP - ongoing
• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible cardiothoracic surgeon
• 7-10 day 24-hour call stretches to cover vacations and holidays
• Must include 2 years of case logs with presentation
• Responsibilities include:
  • Surgical cases
  • Inpatient consults
  • CVICU rounding on post-operative patients
• No outpatient clinic responsibilities
• Typical daily schedule:
  • Cases start around 7:00-7:30am
  • Day typically ends around 5:00pm depending on case load and acuity
• Weekend coverage:
  • APP and physician round together in the mornings
  • Typically lighter surgical volume unless urgent cases arise
