Mystique Sushi Cook:
As a Sushi Cook, a typical day might include the following:

  • Creating high quality sushi including cooking rice, rolling sushi, temperature recording, cutting and packaging for take-out and dine-in plate preparation

  • Preparing sushi dishes according to established guidelines on quality, portion size, presentation, and food safety

  • Expertly cutting, slicing, and filleting different types of fish

  • Inspecting the quality of fruits, vegetables, and fish used to prepare sushi dishes and informing the Sushi Chef when quality is sub-standard

  • Setting up, maintaining, and cleaning stations in practicing good safety, sanitation and organizational skills while adhering to restaurant guidelines

  • Ensuring quality and safety of food by performing standard and any additional sanitary measures including good personal hygiene, cleaning of surfaces and sweeping of floors, as well as proper covering...
