Brooksource is searching for a System Protection & Control (SPC) Electrical Engineer for one of our large utility partners located in the Washington, DC-Baltimore region. The successful candidate will be responsible for system protection and control engineering and design deliverables for transmission and substation projects, 13 KV through 500 kV.
Responsibilities:
Development of one-line diagrams, elementary drawings, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts associated with protection, metering, controls, and communications.Plan and schedule work to include developing an engineering and design scope of work, outage sequencing, and preliminary protection and/or communication diagrams.Review and approve engineering documents to include equipment specifications and material list for construction.Perform modeling us...
