The D.E.Shaw group seeks a senior systems engineer with extensive Linux experience to join its Platform Engineering team. This is a hands‑on, technical role within a global cross‑platform engineering team responsible for the firm’s core technology infrastructure. What you’ll do day-to-day

• Be part of a team that designs and maintains the firm’s global network, operating systems, security policy and infrastructure, and core network services across our datacenters, cloud services, and global offices.
• Work to continuously improve the security framework of a fast‑paced, large‑scale infrastructure environment that supports investment activity and technology development across the firm.
