This is a 100% onsite role, which demands +50% of the time performing field activities and covers on‑call shifts outside of working hours.
To operate and maintain RF and MW Sites within the Network within agreed SLAs to maintain service to our customers. An Engineer conducts 1st line maintenance on RF and MW Sites. These activities will also include electrical supply subsystems and the various antenna systems deployed on the network.
An Engineer will also be involved in specialist activities including but not limited to radio interference detection, microwave link optimization or Switch infrastructure maintenance. Provide 1st line support to Radio Planners to assist with the resolution of customer reported coverage cases and with interference related site issues.
