Position Information Position Title Systems Trades Electrician Job Responsibilities Reports directly to the Building Trades Supervisor and is responsible for all types of interior and exterior electrical work on campus, including work on power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and security systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Install, modify, and repair wiring and other components for interior and exterior power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and security systems.

Troubleshoot problems with power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and security systems.

Complete work order documentation upon completion of work.

Initiate requests for necessary parts and supplies.

Maintain orderly storage of tools, materials, and equipment.

Clean shop areas as needed.

Be available for emergency night calls.

Be available for overtime and weekend scheduled events.
