Tax Supervisor - Durban North

Job Description

Technical Competencies & Experience:
  1. Tax Return Preparation Volume and Accuracy
  2. Deadline Management
  3. eFiling Expert Navigation
  4. Handle client queries escalated from accountants in the team resolving matters that fall beyond the accountant's technical scope or authority
  5. Team Oversight Clerks and Administrators
  6. Plan and distribute the team's workload across active tax engagements every return, every tracker, every deadline is assigned, scheduled and monitored
  7. Answer procedural and process questions from clerks and administrators clearly and promptly correct procedures, eFiling navigation, workflow protocols, Infinity updates and filing standards
  8. Escalate all tax advice, client technical questions, disputed assessments, complex SARS queries and any matter requiring a tax opinion to the manager or partner immediately
