Full-time position (1.0 FTE)


+ 7 hours per day, 10 months per year, school calendar

+ Instruct secondary students in the area of Building Construction

+ Monitor student progress

+ Maintain discipline in the classroom and work sites

+ Carry out all other duties as assigned by the Principal & Assistant Principal




Job Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: Valid NYS Teaching Certification;

Extensive experience in Building Trades is required


+ Minimum 5–10+ years of verified, full-time experience in construction trades

+ Demonstrated experience in: Residential home building, Carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, roofing, and drywall

+ Blueprint reading and construction processes

+ Experience as a crew leader, foreman, or supervisor preferred

+ Strong knowledge of: OSHA safety standards, Local and National building codes
