Job Description Job Summary:
The CT Tech will perform advanced computed tomography procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis. This role requires proficient technical skills, effective communication, and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate GE CT equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures forpatients.
- Consult with radiologists and physicians to determine appropriate imaging protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures in the EMR system.
- Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and department policies.
- Assist in equipment maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification in CT and BLS required.
- Minimum of 2 years of CT imaging experience.
- Proficient with GE imaging equipment and Meditech EMR.
