Job Description
Responsibilities - Provide specialist technical advice and leadership to support the design and development of Green Climate Fund (GCF) Concept Notes and funding proposals.
- Strengthen climate rationale and the articulation of adaptation and mitigation measures within a specific technical area.
- Undertake technical quality assurance of drafts to ensure coherence, feasibility, and alignment with GCF requirements and best practices.
- Collaborate with program design colleagues and country teams to integrate specialist technical inputs into multi-sector narratives.
- Develop knowledge products, such as technical briefs, checklists, and guidance notes, to strengthen team capability and capture lessons learned.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related field such as environmental management, climate change, public health, WASH engineering, renewable energy, or education.
