Job Description
. Support the Technical Superintendent in the daily technical oversight of designated vessels. . Oversee ship performance, upkeep timelines, and adherence to class and legal regulations. . Collaborate with ship personnel and outside contractors for maintenance, dry docks, and technical assistance. . Examine technical reports, lists of defects, and maintenance logs from ships. . Confirm that the planned maintenance system (PMS) is effectively executed and revised onboard. . Assist in budget development and track ship operating costs. . Coordinate with classification societies, flag states, and port authorities as necessary. . Support in acquiring spare parts, inventory, and technical services. . Engage in inspections of vessels, audits, and investigations into incidents. . Ensure precise documentation and technical records for designated vessels. Requirements: .
