The Role

As a Technical Author you will be responsible for the preparation of a range of technical documentation in support of QinetiQ Target Systems’ (QTS) product range. QTS is a wholly owned subsidiary of QinetiQ Group PLC, specialising in the design and manufacture of a range of state-of-the art Unmanned Aerial and Surface Target systems, including the world-leading Banshee target.

Day-to-day, you’ll be involved with documentation delivery, within priorities set by the Technical Publications Manager that would include preparation of illustrated parts catalogues, maintenance manuals, operating manuals and training materials, covering both electrical and mechanical systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparation of presentation material, using the software provided

Generation of original graphics, including photographs and CAD images, for use in technical publications
