ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs all job functions of Group Leader Laboratory – Technical on an as needed basis.
- In addition to managerial and administrative duties, the Group Leader performs all duties of R01337 SEMI Histotechnologist.
- Schedules and leads group huddles for the Histology group.
- Check overdue lists for both surgical pathology and dermatopathology cases as well as ancillary testing including IHC and special staining.
- Monitor priority cases.
- Correct reports as necessary.
- Maintains compliance with CLIA and CAP standards.
