JOB DESCRIPTION
The role of a Reefer Technician is to perform plugging/unplugging operations and temperature monitoring of reefer (refrigerated) containers in container yards at PSA Container Terminal. The role requires strong safety awareness, accurate status recording via tablet, and the ability to respond to operational exceptions such as temperature irregularities and faulty cables. JOB DUTIES
Prior to the commencement of operations, ensure all required personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn, including uniforms, safety helmets, safety shoes, reefer gloves, and any other necessary safety gear.
Perform plugging and unplugging of reefer containers.
Use a tablet to record and update plugging/unplugging status accurately.
Conduct temperature monitoring duties for reefer containers and identify irregularities.
Complete plugging/unplugging duties within stipulated time requirements depending on operational needs.
