Job Summary Sets up and operate injection-molding machines. Responsible of maintenance of injection processes to meet standard cycle times and quality requirements. Ability to properly handle material, molded product and related inventory control. Must have experience and knowledge of proper operation of manufacturing and material handling equipment.
Job Responsibilities - Install mold on machine according to work order specifications
- Responsible for molding machine set up including ancillary equipment as related to the molding process
- Follow and document process parameters to ensure repeatable results
- Performs all the function and responsibilities of a material handler
- Performs mold changes
- Process molding parameters to achieve quality parts and optimized cycle times
- Set up End of Arm tooling for robotic part removal and trimming
